The Big Brawl
Jackie Chan
Jackie is now the world's #1 film star, but back in 1980 life was a little tougher. Jackie had conquered the Far East but was yet to break into the lucrative American market. The kung fu boom there had come and gone and only Bruce Lee was still taken seriously.

Golden Harvest still had a friendly relationship with Warner Brothers following their earlier co-production, Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon. Bruce's film had been a massive worldwide hit and posthumously made Bruce a legend. Well maybe Golden Harvest and Warners figured that lightning could strike twice because they annouced that Enter The Dragon director, Robert Clouse, had been hired to direct Jackie's first American movie, 'The Battlecreek Brawl'.
